RNC Means really neat clubhouse. I told Greg that we might not make back the money that it took to build the place, but we'll have a really neat clubhouse anyway. The primary purpose of RNC is to provide a place in which ordinary musicians can record a demo or a complete album without being exposed to the limitations of the tight budget and hectic scheduling of the larger studios or the physical limitations of home based setups. Gear and Services P4 1.6 ghz PC with a total of 46 gigs of ultra 2 wide LVD SCSI and 512 megs of ram, another PC that runs Gigasampler and a virtual synth or two attached to MOTU 2408 and by lightpipe to 2 ADAT's, Panasonic DAT and Sony mini disk through or bypass Tascam 24 x 8 console. We use Cubase 5, Wavelab 3, Recycle 2 and various effects. We are currently using a Yamaha CD writer. We have various hardware outboard gear, so you can record into, and mix down from adats or computer or both. For monitoring we have Yamaha NS-10's, JBL Control 1 with a fairly cheap sub, and a pair of very nice JBL 12" mid field 4412's. We also have lots of Keyboards, Gigasampler, and Bitheadz AS-1 virtual synth. Guitars and bass are available, and we have a set of Roland V-Drums. RNC mics include Sure 58, 57's, AKG C-1000's, C-3000, Byer Dynamic and Neuman TLM. We have a large control room and a large iso room in addition to a smaller "live" iso room with a nice ambiance which we can control with damping panels. We are good at midi stuff and remixes, and we are capable of recording backing tracks to your custom specifications in a variety of styles including vocals. I have provided tracks for bands, singles, duo's and the Sterling Casino Cruise ship floor show. |
